In early May of 2008, short of filing divorce papers, our marriage basically ended. Yet with God's help, and over the last 3.5 years, we have committed to not just seeing that our marriage would survive (step 1), but that it would once again thrive (step 2). There have been many, many unbelievably painful steps in the process, but in September of 2008, God burdened us both to begin this ministry so that we could help other couples who are facing the same things we did. No matter where you are at in your marriage, please do not give up. Please read our stories (links at the top of the page), because whatever you are going through, you are NOT alone. We had some friends tell us that Joe's affair was the best thing that happened to their marriage because they realized if it could happen to a "Godly" couple like us, it could truly happen to anyone. From our research, we've learned that roughly 30-40% of Christians will be involved in some type of affair, though only about 1 in 10 ever admit to it. Our hope is that by sharing our stories, we can help other couples to not give up and to allow God time to work a miracle in your marriages too!

Please note that we created this site with the primary purpose of helping other couples learn from our experience. If you are reading, you may be where we once were and we hope to able to help get you to where we are now . We have a resources page that offers many books from individuals who are also very knowledgeable in this area. We are FAR from being Bible scholars, but we pray that in everything we share, it will be biblically accurate and God-honoring. Our Mission: To Be A Source Of Hope For Other Couples

We are always willing to correspond with hurting couples free of charge. We do our best not to play the role of counselors though, as there are trained experts in this field who will be far more helpful; however, we do believe that there are couples out there who are ready to give up. We want to be that voice that tells you to hold on (though there are certainly exceptions such as when physical abuse is involved). We know that if God could keep us together when we saw no hope, then He can do this in the lives of other couples as well. Please let us know if our site has been helpful to you and ways that we can improve it to help other couples. You are also welcome to email us with your stories, that we might share these to encourage other couples. Note that we do not sell any products or services on our site, as we simply want to try and provide the type of site that we ourselves once desperately needed.
